Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a dynamic Senior Charge Nurse to lead the Perth & Kinross Central Vaccination Service. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring quality and safety standards while delivering vaccination programmes across community clinics, outreach and home visits.

The role requires strong leadership, adaptability and a can-do attitude, working within NHS Tayside’s Public Health Directorate and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to tackle

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Central Vaccination Service in the Perth &Kinross area, ensuring quality and safety.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver vaccination programmes as directed by CMO and Scottish Government.
• Provide expert clinical guidance and programme delivery across community clinics, outreach, care homes and home visits.
• Collaborate with public health colleagues and other services to address health inequalities and person-centred care.
