NHS Scotland is seeking vaccinators to join the NHS Highland Vaccination Service on a fixed-term basis. You will be part of a multi-professional team delivering vaccinations to 18 year olds and above, with the opportunity to work alongside the Children’s team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Highland Vaccination Service for vaccinators to join the team. This is a fixed term position at present.

You will work as a part of a multi-professional team, safely and effectively delivering various vaccinations to 18 year olds And above with the opportunity to work alongside the Children's team

You will be responsible for -

• Administration of Vaccinations under PGD authority and PSDs
• Registering individuals who attend clinics to receive vaccinations
• Screening and assessment of individual suitability to receive various vaccinations
• Adherence to infection control practices
• Adherence to data protection and information governance standards
• Demonstrates care and compassion to patients, carers and relatives to help ensure high-quality person-centred patient care is delivered at all times
• Recording of accurate administration records using systems such as Turas VMT tool

This post is based in the main vaccination Clinic and also satellite clinics across the geographical area of South and Mid
