Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence in London is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team. You will craft data-heavy interfaces for our risk analytics products used by top banks, translating complex needs into clear, accessible designs and maintaining our design system.

You will collaborate with product, tech, and client teams, build prototypes with Figma, and ensure designs are feasible for developers. A hybrid working model with in-office days is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of UX/UI experience (7 years preferred).
• Experience designing complex data-dense enterprise or B2B products (Dashboards, analytics, workflows with heavy tabular/chart data).
• Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience conducting usability tests and heuristic studies.
• Portfolio demonstrating recent relevant work across end-to-end design lifecycle.
• Skilled using design tools such as Figma for both high fidelity designs and prototyping.
• Practical understanding of web technologies and what’s feasible from a development perspective (CSS, HTML5, Typescript, React).

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse requirements, translating complex problems into robust interfaces promoting user-centered design principles.
• Work through discovery to delivery and iteration across the product lifecycle.
• Maintain and evolve FRA design system to support new features and technologies.
• Collaborate with developers to export UI elements, document wireframes, and test new features.
