Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior UX Researcher to join our dynamic product team. In this pivotal role, you will lead research initiatives that uncover deep user insights, inform product strategy, and shape the design of intuitive and impactful experiences. You will work collaboratively with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a user-centered approach is at the forefront of our product development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Research Initiatives: Independently plan, design, and execute a wide range of qualitative (and possibly quantitative) research studies, including but not limited to: discovery, usability testing, interviews, surveys, competitive analysis, and market evaluations.
  • Strategic Impact: Translate complex research findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations that directly influence product roadmaps, design decisions, and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to identify research opportunities, define research questions, and integrate insights throughout the product development process.
  • Methodology Expertise: Select and apply appropriate research methodologies based on project goals, timelines, and resources. Advocate for the right research at the right time.
  • Data Analysis & Synthesis: Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, themes, and user needs. Synthesize findings into compelling narratives, presentations, and reports for diverse audiences.
  • Mentorship & Best Practices: Contribute to the growth of the UX research practice within the organization, sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and promoting best practices.
  • Participant Recruitment: Oversee and manage participant recruitment efforts, ensuring ethical and efficient processes.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional UX research experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
  • Demonstrable expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Proficiency with research tools (e.g., user testing platforms, survey tools, analytics software).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your research process, methodologies, and impact on product development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in hotel/hospitality industry
  • Design skills, including low- or high-fidelity and prototyping
  • Familiarity with product development processes in agile or lean environments.
  • Experience with global research or conducting studies across diverse user groups and geographies
