Join us as Senior UX Designer for CIAM at Barclays

In this role, you will bring to life a new Digital Platform capability by transforming and modernising our digital estate to create a market-leading digital offering focused on customer experience.

This key role requires adopting a Product Operating Model mindset to understand customer, business, and technical challenges, supporting the adoption and integration of new technology across multiple lines of business. You will also be involved in writing code in Java, working closely with business teams to develop solutions through rapid prototyping and proof of concepts.

To be successful, you should have:

• Expertise in mapping and designing complex user journeys across diverse systems and technologies
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies such as SSO, MFA, and IAM solutions (e.g., Forgerock, Ping Authenticate, Oracle Auth, SailPoint)
• Strong experience with web technologies, BDD testing, and public cloud platforms like AWS
• A desire to learn about CIAM platforms and user authentication methods across Barclays
• A proactive approach to challenging norms, with excellent relationship-building skills, patience, resilience, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

The role may involve assessing skills in risk and controls, change management, strategic thinking, and technical expertise.

This position is based in our London office.
