One of our clients is seeking a skilled Utility Surveyor to join their accomplished team of surveyors, engineers, and technicians. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, varied, and engaging work while conducting detailed surveys to map and record underground utilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive utility surveys using GPR, electromagnetic locators, and other advanced tools.
Accurately identify, locate, and map underground utility systems.
Process survey data and generate detailed reports and drawings.
Ensure all work meets PAS128 standards and adheres to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to achieve project goals.
Provide technical expertise and support to junior surveyors.
Assist in preparing method statements and risk assessments.
Support multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Utility Surveyor to PAS128 standards.
Level 3 qualification in Utility Mapping and Surveying or equivalent.
Proficiency in GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment (experience with total stations and GPS is beneficial).
Strong data processing and reporting experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including night shifts when required.
