Job summary

IES Utilities Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Planner to support gas infrastructure and utility projects across the UK. You will develop, maintain and report on complex project programmes using Primavera P6, ensuring accurate forecasting of durations, manpower and resource costs.

Collaborating with project managers, commercial teams and clients, you will provide programme management expertise throughout tender to completion, communicating risks and progress to stakeholders with clarity and

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Planner in utilities, gas, civil engineering or infra sectors.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Experience producing resource-loaded and cost-loaded programmes.
• Understanding of project planning methodologies and controls.
• Experience producing critical path analysis and programme reporting.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Produce baseline programmes for tenders and live projects.
• Create resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules with accurate duration and manpower data.
• Monitor progress and identify programme opportunities and risks.
• Support commercial with programme-related claims, variations and extensions of time.
