Senior User Researcher / UX Researcher | B2C / B2B2C, Travel | £60-65k | Hybrid (Manchester, 2-3 days)

A talented Senior User Researcher / UX Researcher is needed by a leading provider of travel and lifestyle benefits! Our client seeks an experienced and self-driven professional who can evangelise user research across the business and assist in optimising product strategy.

Location: Manchester, 2-3 days/week (Hybrid)

This is a new role, where you will take ownership of the organisation’s end-to-end research, from planning and recruitment to synthesis and storytelling. It is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building from scratch, and is confident engaging with cross-functional teams to embed research deeply into product strategy.

The Senior User Researcher / UX Researcher’s responsibilities include:

• Conducting mixed-method research (primarily qualitative), including interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, etc., to understand user needs and wants.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to identify research questions and align on objectives.
• Producing data and user insights to inform product strategy.

The Senior User Researcher / UX Researcher must have:

• Experience in industries such as travel, loyalty, fintech, benefits platforms, and cross-cultural user studies.
• Hands-on user research experience (preferably in product-led or B2B2C environments), including independently running research across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with tools like Usertesting.com, Lyssna, Lookback, Maze, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, or similar.
