The Nottingham CityCare Urgent Treatment Centre is a clinician-led service providing assessment and treatment for people with urgent but not life-threatening health problems.
This post is suitable for an enthusiastic, driven, motivated, and flexible registered healthcare professional with demonstrable experience as an independent prescriber (V300) in an unplanned/urgent care environment. Applications are also encouraged from Emergency Care/Nurse Practitioners with V300 prescribing who are keen to gain additional experience with patients presenting with various illnesses, including minor injuries.
The Urgent Treatment Centre is a training environment supporting the development of all healthcare disciplines, including student nurses, pharmacists, GP SpRs, medical students, and paramedics. The service is located at Seaton House, which has recently undergone modernisation and has X-ray facilities on-site.
Informal visits to the UTC are most welcome.
This role requires flexible 365-day working with shifts from 06:45 am to 10 pm daily. Full-time and part-time hours will be considered.
