Your role as a Senior Clinical Practitioner with Nottingham CityCare Partnership will put you at the forefront of healthcare transformation. The Nottingham CityCare Urgent Treatment Centre is a clinician-led service providing assessment and treatment for people with urgent but not life-threatening health problems.

This post is suitable for an enthusiastic, driven, motivated, and flexible registered healthcare professional with demonstrable experience as an independent prescriber (V300) in an unplanned/urgent care environment. Applications are also encouraged from Emergency Care/Nurse Practitioners with V300 prescribing who are keen to gain additional experience with patients presenting with various illnesses, including minor injuries.

The Urgent Treatment Centre is a training environment supporting the development of all healthcare disciplines, including student nurses, pharmacists, GP SpRs, medical students, and paramedics. The service is located at Seaton House, which has recently undergone modernisation and has X-ray facilities on-site.

Informal visits to the UTC are most welcome.

Main duties of the job

This role requires flexible 365-day working with shifts from 06:45 am to 10 pm daily. Full-time and part-time hours will be considered.

Typical day includes:

• Working within a compassionate and professional team of clinical experts.
• Providing face-to-face assessment and care to patients with undifferentiated conditions.
• Delivering secure, efficient, and patient-centred care.
• Guiding patients across primary, secondary, and tertiary care levels.
• Conducting clinical evaluations and supporting fellow clinicians.
• Participating in reflective supervision led by Clinical Leads.

To be successful, you will need:

• Registered healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, Paramedic, Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapist) with part 1 of the current NMC register.
• Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (V300).
• Recognised teaching/mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Right to work in the UK.
