Opportunity Overview

As demand for our expertise grows, we are seeking talented Senior Urban Designers to join our experienced and expanding Architectural team based in Reading, Theale.

You will work on exciting projects such as world-class technical facilities, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, education facilities, offices, and private commissions, contributing to a diverse portfolio of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop masterplans and detailed designs across the South and home counties.
2. Create early-stage designs including feasibility reports, detailed designs, access statements, and masterplanning documents.
3. Provide architectural, regeneration, masterplanning, and urban design services to various clients.
4. Review and improve existing developments, offering ongoing project advice.
5. Produce both hand-drawn and digital designs for client presentations.
6. Support the wider team and review ongoing developments.
7. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Degree or professional qualification in Planning and/or Urban Design.
2. Recent relevant experience in planning or urban design.
3. Strong technical skills in planning and urban design.
4. Experience working with local planning authorities.
5. Good sense and flair for landscape, architectural design, and masterplanning.
