Responsibilities

Operational Project delivery opportunity for 6 months leading process change and delivering initiatives that embed best practice to ensure continuous improvement of how Lloyd's oversees and supports Underwriting Performance across the Lloyd's market. This would suit an operational, data improvement and/or process change focused individual to take a pro-active and solutions driven approach to evaluating and improving the processes and tools that allow Lloyd's to deliver the highest level of market wide portfolio performance. You will use your initiative to lead projects, evaluate and improve measurable KPI's and evolve processes to mitigate operational risk and ensure effective controls.

Qualifications

With an insurance operational background, the key skills you need include:

  • An ability to build relationships and work at team and operational levels to drive and deliver significant change
  • Ability to be creative, able to deal with complex problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Advanced analytical capability, ability to manipulate data
  • Clear articulate communicator – exhibiting diplomacy and sound judgement
  • A proven ability to influence and able to find compromise when required
  • Ability to challenge/communicate at a senior level
  • Advanced organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Confidence and experience of making informed decisions
  • High level of IT literacy including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Evidence of operating in a complex environment and regulated market environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to be self-motivated, resourceful and highly proactive
  • Ability to establish priorities with clear responsibilities
  • Proven planning skills combined with an ability to balance the interests of multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and manage constructive conflict
