Job summary

Eames Consulting is partnering with a leading global insurer to recruit a Senior Underwriter / Portfolio Lead for their London team. The role centers on underwriting and owning a diverse portfolio of US delegated business across Professional Lines, Allied Healthcare and Cyber, in collaboration with MGAs, coverholders and specialist brokers.

Beyond hands-on underwriting, you will steer portfolio performance, contribute to business planning and underwriting strategy, and foster key trading

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting across US delegated authority, binders, programs or MGA business.
• Strong leadership and portfolio management skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with MGAs, brokers and coverholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of US delegated business across Professional Lines, Allied Healthcare and Cyber.
• Lead underwriting decisions and set strategy for portfolio performance.
• Develop trading relationships and support and develop other underwriters.
