Job description

We are currently working with a major insurer in the market on a Senior Motor Trade Underwriting opportunity. We are keen to speak with individuals who have experience underwriting motor trade business, managing, and developing client relationships.

This award-winning insurer is a well-established brand in the UK insurance market, demonstrating stability in premium generation, employee count, policy volume, and market reputation.

The Role:

• Profitably develop and underwrite bespoke commercial lines motor trade risks within underwriting criteria, including on-site underwriting at broker offices.
• Manage the collection and delivery of motor trade accounts for the region.
• Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with a panel of Mid-Market brokers as their nominated development relationship underwriter for motor trade products.
• Support the growth of the commercial lines account by engaging with regional brokers and encouraging new and existing relationships.
• Proactively contribute to the team’s growth targets by optimizing sales and retention.

Experience:

• Strong understanding of the commercial insurance market.
