AXA UK is seeking a Senior Underwriter to enhance our Commercial team in London. This role involves delivering financial results, managing broker relationships, and providing technical expertise. As a key contributor, you will help shape our underwriting strategies while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Building on our success, a key initiative for the future of AXA Commercial is enhancing our current teams with experienced, engaging, and forward-thinking Commercial Underwriters. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for you to build key foundations and shape the narrative, that will provide AXA the exposure and scope required for growth.
As the Senior Underwriter, you’ll deliver the branch financial results and hold accountability for broker and account level profitability. You’ll also increase the technical and trading capability of the Underwriting team, whilst working within company and regulatory processes and frameworks.

You'll work at least 60% of your week away from home, either at our office location in London, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll bring:
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
