Job Description

This is a super opportunity for an experienced engineering underwriting specialist who would be keen to move into a role which will offer a deputy management responsibility and also overseeing a small team.

Your engineering background should be more CAR related and you should have been underwriting larger industrial risks, ideally with some multinational exposure.

The risks are predominantly direct, with a large proportion of lead business on the UK side. This is all London market business, which concentrates on writing large premium projects, including infrastructure, tunnelling and rail etc.

The role will deputise for the engineering head; it will suit a technical underwriter who enjoys the mentoring aspect of training and developing less experienced team members.
