WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Source, underwrite, price, and negotiate Cyber & Tech E&O accounts in line with the company’s strategy and risk appetite to ensure profitability, retention, and written premium goals are achieved.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the analysis of risk to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Develop relationships with brokers and policyholders to establish new distribution relationships and organic growth opportunities.
• Assist with strategic planning by developing and maintaining suitable management information to effectively evaluate the portfolio.
• Participate in roundtable discussions.
• Effectively market and articulate the company’s value proposition and product offering to brokers and clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals and drive cross-sell opportunities.
• Drive efficiency and process improvements across the value chain, with data and technology in mind.
• Maintain compliance with all internal and external underwriting guidelines and legal requirements.
• Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Minimum of 3 years of Cyber & Tech E&O insurance underwriting, broking, or claims experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in cyber security, computer science, business, insurance, or a related discipline.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• A creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills and an ability to look at problems from new and different angles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team-centric environment.
• A comfortable communicator who can clearly and authentically convey a written and verbal message.
• Advanced skills across all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with leading high-profile client and broker meetings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and work ethic.
• Ability to work outside of core hours and travel overseas, as required.
• Interest and conceptual comprehension in Web 3.0, Digital Assets, Blockchain technology, the Cannabis sector, AI, or Financial Markets.
• Completed, or working towards, a professional designation in insurance underwriting, finance, or accounts, such as RPLU, CPCU, ACII, AU, CPA, or CFA.
