What Is the Opportunity?

Our Corporate team uses their specialist expertise to offer bespoke insurance solutions to our largest and most complex clients in the UK and Ireland. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Underwriter to join our team in any of our UK or Ireland offices.

In this interesting and varied role, you will be involved from the early stages of client engagement through close interaction and collaboration with our colleagues in Risk Control, Claim, and other critical stakeholders both in the UK and the US. You’ll be responsible for triaging new business opportunities and developing prospects, leading the technical underwriting of these risks, and helping to deliver Travelers’ bespoke customer proposition. You’ll manage an assigned allocation of large cross-class renewal accounts and will be one of the primary contacts for our regional underwriting teams, providing technical support to assist in writing new business and retaining our existing accounts with our broking partners.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full-time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro-rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

This role is eligible for a £2,500 new joiner bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus.
