Job summary

Kinship is hiring a product designer in London to turn complex, data-dense workflows into clean, intuitive interfaces. You will own features end-to-end, contribute to a scalable design system in Figma, and document states and interactions for seamless handoff to engineering.

You’ll collaborate with engineers in a small, motivated team, shipping quickly with a craft mindset. A strong emphasis on documenting your work and maintaining design quality is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing software products with complex interactions.
• Mastery of Figma for design and documentation, with handoff-ready files.
• Ability to walk through Figma files and explain the design system.
• Attention to typography, spacing, hierarchy and edge states.
• Experience partnering with engineers in a product team and iterating.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of features end to end from problem to pixel-perfect UI.
• Translate dense workflows into simple, fast interfaces.
• Build and evolve the design system in Figma with components and tokens.
• Document states, edge cases, and interactions for easy dev handoff.
• Prototype interactions to test motion before coding.
• Collaborate with engineers and help grow the design team as we scale.
