Our notable titles include Two Point Hospital (2018) and Two Point Campus (2022). About the Principal UI Programmer Role:

We seek an experienced programmer to lead UI architecture and implementation for our upcoming simulation management games. Responsibilities include system architecture, UI component development, best practices for UI assets and layout, and ensuring UI robustness and optimization. Collaboration with art and design teams is essential, with room for personal creativity. The role requires at least 5 years of professional experience, though this is flexible depending on talent. Familiarity with Unity UI is necessary, with potential future system transitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop best practices
  • Oversee UI implementation
  • Coordinate with art, design, and code teams
  • Ensure quality and fidelity
  • Champion dual joypad/mouse+keyboard UI controls
  • Plan work within an agile team
Ideal Candidate:
  • 5+ years’ experience in game development (or less if highly skilled)
  • Strong knowledge of Unity and C#
  • Experience with Unity UI systems
  • Proficiency in source control, code architecture, debugging, testing, and optimization
  • Soft skills: problem-solving, teamwork, communication, organization, time management, self-motivation, eagerness to learn
  • Passion for games
Preferred Skills:
  • History of shipped high-quality games
  • Experience with console development
  • UI animation and VFX skills
  • Deep understanding of CPU/GPU/memory optimization
