Job summary

Jain Global is seeking a Senior UI Platform Engineer to join in London. You will help build reusable frontend foundations, maintain shared React/TypeScript packages, and shape onboarding and access experiences across teams.

The role focuses on platform engineering for internal web apps, with emphasis on authentication, observability, and developer workflows. Base salary ranges £120,000–£155,000 for London, plus a full compensation package.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Understanding modern frontend architecture and app structure.
• Experience building reusable UI components and internal tooling.
• Experience with routing, state management, and API integration.
• Experience with enterprise authentication patterns.
• Strong testing, build tooling, and frontend developer workflows.
• Excellent communication and engineering judgment.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable frontend foundations for internal web applications
• Develop and maintain shared React/TypeScript packages, components, and tooling
• Create and improve starter templates, application scaffolding, and developer workflows
• Help define standards for application structure, testing, deployment, and supportability
• Partner with other engineering teams on authentication, authorization, observability, and frontend/backend integration patterns
• Contribute to internal platform applications such as onboarding, access administration, and service discovery experiences
• Evaluate and maintain third-party frontend dependencies and shared UI tooling
• Support adoption through documentation, examples, and direct collaboration with developers across technology and investment teams
