Job summary

Role Summary

Core Platform is responsible for defining and building shared engineering foundations used across application and API teams. As part of this mandate, we aim to accelerate internal web application development and improve consistency across teams, while partnering closely with the API Platform and other development teams.

We are looking for a strong frontend engineer to help build reusable foundations for internal web applications. This role focuses on shared UI packages, application scaffolding, authentication and authorization integration, developer experience, and internal platform applications that support onboarding, access, and discovery.

This is a platform engineering role focused on creating capabilities that can be adopted across teams, regions, and business domains.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable frontend foundations for internal web applications

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with React and TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, with strong frontend depth in React and TypeScript
• Experience in platform engineering, developer enablement, or building reusable internal tooling
• Experience with Vite, Next.js, or both
• Experience with UI/component libraries such as Ant Design, AG Grid, or similar
• Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or Grafana
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD or similar identity platforms
• Experience publishing and maintaining internal npm packages
• Experience building admin, control-plane, or internal workflow UIs
• Familiarity with financial services or complex internal application environments

Compensation

Jain Global offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is £120,000- £155,000, which is specific to London and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
