Job Description:

Synechron is seeking an experienced Senior UI Developer to join our dynamic Digital Practice, working three days a week from our Belfast offices. The initial project involves designing new application portals for a well-known global bank, focusing on multi-year development of portals for traders, risk analysts, and application support teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing application portals for configuration, dashboards, and onboarding processes
• Performing systems analysis, design, coding, and testing
• Collaborating with tech leads on solutions and UX design
• Reviewing existing UIs and ensuring good design principles
• Communicating requirements with backend developers
• Documenting and helping define operating procedures
• Mentoring junior team members to ensure quality and standards
• Developing large-scale web portals and intranet applications
• Applying high-level system analysis and design skills
• Utilizing React.js, AngularJS, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
• Deploying web applications on NGINX or Apache servers
• Using agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Employing design tools such as Figma, Axure, or Sketch
• Optional experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Flutter/Electron, GraphQL

Qualifications:

• At least 6+ years in web development roles
• Focus on user experience, especially dashboards
• Experience deploying UI with version control
• Background in container-based applications
• Strong communication skills
