Job Description:

Synechron is seeking an experienced Senior UI Developer to join our dynamic Digital Practice, working three days a week from our London offices. The initial project involves designing new application portals for a well-known global bank, focusing on multi-year development of portals for traders, risk analysts, and application support teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing application portals for configuration, monitoring dashboards, and client onboarding processes
• Performing systems analysis, design, coding, and unit testing
• Collaborating with tech leads on solutions and user experience design
• Exploring existing UIs to ensure adherence to good design principles
• Communicating requirements and interactions with backend developers
• Maintaining proper documentation and defining operating procedures
• Acting as a technical mentor for junior team members
• Designing and developing large-scale web portals and intranet applications
• Applying high-level system analysis and design skills
• Utilizing React.js, AngularJS, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
• Deploying web applications on servers like NGINX or Apache
• Following agile/scrum methodologies using tools like Jira
• Using design tools such as Figma, Axure, or Sketch
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus
• Knowledge of Flutter/Electron, GraphQL is a plus

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6+ years in web development roles
• Strong focus on user experience, especially in dashboards
• Proven experience in UI deployment and version management
• Experience with container-based applications
• Excellent communication skills
