Location: Leeds
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 (based on experience)

Overview:
Design tunnels and shafts for UK and overseas projects. Use your understanding of ground conditions and structural design. You'll help write reports, get approvals, and work closely with clients like Network Rail and National Highways.

You'll work on:

  • Shaft and tunnel designs (e.g. microtunnelling, HDD, timber headings)
  • Ground stability checks and shoring systems
  • Impact assessments on nearby structures
  • Supporting junior staff and reporting progress

What you need:

  • Degree in civil, geotechnical or geological engineering
  • 3-8 years' experience
  • Good writing and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and get chartered
