Job summary

The Brain Tumour Charity is seeking a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer to advance our small and medium trust and foundation supporters. You will research, write and manage applications, ensuring timely submissions and strong donor stewardship.

This role blends office and home working with an expectation of ~2 days in the Fleet office each week. You will lead budgets and reports, collaborate with colleagues across philanthropy, and align proposals with fundraising priorities to secure

Qualifications

• Proven record of writing successful trust applications to achieve four and five figure sums and multi-year grants.
• Experience of writing and submitting tailored reports for individual funders.
• Experience of producing project budgets and reporting against budgets.
• Experience of working within the charitable sector and in a fundraising team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research trusts and foundations; conduct due diligence checks and build a pipeline of prospects.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of applications and reports in accordance with deadlines and priorities.
• Submit professional and inspiring applications and project proposals to small and medium trusts, securing multi-year awards where possible.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to gather information, case studies, budgets and updates for compelling submissions.
• Maintain trust relationships and understand each funder’s preferences to optimise giving potential.
