Job summary

TMF Group is seeking a senior UK Trustee professional to oversee a portfolio of corporate trustee appointments across structured finance and debt capital markets. You will be the primary day-to-day contact for clients and advisers and ensure trustees’ duties and obligations are applied accurately.

You will review documents, coordinate closing actions, manage amendments and restructurings, and guide junior colleagues while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market practice and regulations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years’ experience at a corporate service provider or law firm working on corporate trustee, security trustee, note trustee roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of trustee appointments, understanding transaction structures, documents, parties, obligations and risk.
• Act as day-to-day contact for clients, advisers and transaction parties, leading calls and meetings.
• Review documents to identify trustee duties, protections, conditions and information needs, escalating risk issues.
• Translate document requirements into closing checklists, diary items and controls.
• Manage amendments, waivers, restructurings, defaults and termination processes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Draft and review trustee correspondence and notices, coordinating execution per delegated authorities.
• Maintain matter records including transaction data, contacts and approvals.
• Support client onboarding by providing transaction information and resolving queries.
• Record time accurately and manage work-in-progress, billing and recoverability.
• Guide junior colleagues, share knowledge and maintain quality control across the team.
• Identify improvements to trustee procedures and tools to reduce key-person dependency.
• Contribute to business development through fee proposals and cross-sell of services.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date on market practice, legislation and regulation.
