Maitland Kabir seeks an experienced trust tax professional to join its Private Client team in London. You will review trust and estate accounts and tax returns, advising on inheritance tax and related matters, while supporting client reporting obligations.

You will collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver high-quality advice, develop technical expertise, and build professional relationships within a private client practice.

Formación

• CTA qualification and STEP qualification advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation relating to trusts and estates.
• Experience in a similar trust taxation or private client tax role.

Responsabilidades

• Review trust and estate accounts and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and technical quality.
• Review inheritance tax calculations for ten-year anniversary charges and exit charges.
• Correspond with trustees, personal representatives and beneficiaries regarding distributions.
• Maintain client records and HMRC Trust Registration obligations.
• Provide practical guidance on trusts and estate reporting and tax matters.
