Job summary

Clark Wood is working with a reputable Surrey firm to recruit a Trust Accountant to join the Trust & Wealth Services team. The role focuses on trust accounting, tax compliance and administration for a sophisticated client base.

You will handle UK and offshore trusts, estates and charities, liaising with trustees and advisers while managing your workflow and supervising junior staff. A strong background in trust accounting and taxation is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in trust accounting and trust tax returns.
• Knowledge of onshore and offshore trust taxation.
• Strong organisational and deadline management.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trust accounts for UK and offshore trusts and estates.
• Prepare tax returns for trusts, charities, estates, and HNW individuals.
• Prepare tax pool computations for offshore trusts.
• Assist with administration of trusts, charities and estates.
• Liaise with trustees, advisers and other parties.
• Manage own workflow and ensure client work meets deadlines.
• Supervise junior team members and delegate work.
