Job summary

Queen Mary University of London’s Blizard Institute is seeking a Senior Trials and Project Manager to lead the CoachMS study on a 12-month fixed-term basis. You will run day-to-day trial activities as the primary link between the university and NHS sites, handling setup, recruitment, data governance and reporting.

The post targets patients newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Reporting to the Chief Investigator, you will ensure regulatory compliance, protocol development, ethics submissions

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or equivalent research experience.
• Substantial experience as a clinical trials or research professional.
• Experience managing multi-centre studies and trial documentation.
• Experience overseeing ethics and regulatory submissions.
• Experience ensuring audits meet compliance standards.
• Budget management experience and ability to work to timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery and coordination of the CoachMS study.
• Act as liaison between QMUL, NHS sites and stakeholders.
• Oversee study setup, site activation, recruitment and data management.
• Ensure regulatory governance, monitoring, reporting and engagement.
• Contribute to protocol development and ethics submissions.
• Contribute to budget management and staff training.
• Support dissemination of study findings.
