Job summary

Queen Mary University of London seeks an experienced Programme Manager to lead the Centre for Bone and Joint Health and the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit. You will take strategic and operational responsibility for NIHR-funded clinical trials, ensuring high standards of quality, regulatory compliance and scientific integrity.

You will oversee all aspects of trial delivery from setup to reporting, supervise trial coordinators, manage documentation and stakeholder relations, and contribute to SOP

Qualifications

• Experience managing clinical trials, including multi-centre studies.
• Strong governance and regulatory knowledge incl ethics submissions and ICH-GCP requirements.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Take strategic and operational responsibility for trial management from set-up to reporting.
• Supervise trial coordinators and manage trial documentation and processes.
• Liaise with investigators, clinical teams, trial sites and regulatory bodies; ensure GCP/regulatory compliance.
• Develop SOPs, support resource planning, and represent Trial Management at key meetings.
