Job summary

Novartis UK in London, based at Westworks White City, seeks a Trial Vendor Manager to lead vendor delivery and risk management across clinical trials. The role supports start-up, eCOA/IRT, imaging and PR&R vendors in a hybrid setup with 12 onsite days per month.

You will oversee budgets, contracts, and SOWs, ensuring timeliness and quality. A background in oncology trials and VMS processes is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ clinical operations experience, including direct management of clinical trial vendors.
• Strong knowledge of GxP and ICH regulations.
• Experience in vendor contracting and site collaborations, including UAT for eCOA and IRT systems.
• Results-driven with track record of meeting timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Oncology focus knowledge would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for vendor service delivery at the study level.
• Provide end-to-end operational oversight of vendor deliverables across major categories.
• Review vendor-related protocol sections and translate requirements into vendor specs and SOWs.
• Oversee vendor financials: forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, PO management.
• Ensure all deliverables and documentation are in place to support study start-up.
• Lead UAT activities for vendor systems and participate in system validation.
• Drive site activation from a vendor perspective and manage risks.
• Manage vendor performance against KPIs and drive corrective actions.
