Job summary

Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking an experienced professional to join the Environment Team as the lead for all tree works across the Borough’s parks and green spaces. You will respond to tree-related queries and ensure the health and sustainability of our trees, based primarily at Kimberley Depot with travel across the Borough.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in tree inspection and maintenance, knowledge of tree species and health assessments, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Experience in tree inspections and surveys.
• Experience in tree management and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of tree species, health assessments and relevant legislation.
• Assessing tree works and quality control.
• Excellent communication with residents and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead on all tree works and their management across the Borough’s parks and green spaces.
• Respond to tree-related queries and ensure tree health and sustainability.
• Travel across the Borough from Kimberley Depot as required.
