Job description

Convera is seeking a Senior Treasury Trader Analyst to join our growing team in London . This role is central to the daily management of the company’s currency positions, arising from its money transfer and business payments products.

The primary responsibility is to manage Convera’s foreign exchange (FX) risk by hedging client trade activity with our bank counterparties, in line with prescribed interest rate and currency risk limits. This includes quoting FX prices across multiple products and structuring option contracts to support our Business Solutions sales team.

You will also handle a wide range of operational functions, including the execution of FX options, spot, swap, and forward deals, entering trade data into the Treasury Risk Management System, booking exotic currencies, processing returns, and managing daily and ad hoc reporting activities.

This fast-paced, high-volume environment requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication, flawless execution, and a deep understanding of FX instruments—particularly FX forwards and complex option strategies .

Responsibilities:

  • Manage FX exposure and execute trades across spot, forward, swap, and option markets
  • Support the structuring and pricing of option contracts for internal stakeholders
  • Monitor market conditions and economic indicators to assess potential currency impacts
  • Enter and maintain trade data within the Treasury Risk Management System
  • Support reporting, reconciliation, and operational activities related to treasury and risk
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including data automation and reporting enhancements
