Job summary

KPMG in the UK Treasury Tax team is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to deliver technically robust advice on loan relationships and derivative contracts across deals and restructurings. The role requires strong technical credibility, commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex tax rules into practical guidance.

The role offers flexible location within KPMG’s UK offices, with regular visits to London or Leeds preferred and some client or office travel.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in Treasury Tax, especially UK loan relationships and derivative contracts regimes.
• Proven ability to analyse complex tax law and provide practical, commercial advice.
• Experience advising on M&A, debt restructuring, and financing arrangements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technically excellent Treasury Tax advice to clients and internal teams.
• Lead and manage workstreams, coordinating specialists to maintain high technical standards.
• Support business development and client relationship management within the Treasury Tax practice.
• Contribute to development of Treasury Tax capability through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
