Job Description
This hands-on role will focus on the successful delivery of a variety of Treasury projects, including but not limited to bank rationalization, process improvements, acquisitions, new product initiatives, and global Treasury system implementations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational finance expertise, project management skills, and a keen understanding of banking processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key internal business partners to identify and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Banking Partner Coordination: Liaise with banking partners to ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed, preventing delays in account openings related to projects.
- Project Deployment Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination among internal and external business partners, as well as IT teams, to ensure seamless delivery of various project deployments.
- User Acceptance Testing & Data Migration: Manage and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and oversee data migration processes to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Treasury and Regional Treasury Operations Managers on ongoing projects and operational improvements within the department.
- Process Improvement Delivery: Identify and implement defined improvements to internal processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience:
- Educational Background: Postgraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science) in a business-related field.
- Proactive Mindset: A self-starter with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose innovative solutions.
- Operational Finance Experience: Proven experience in an operational finance role, with a solid understanding of systems and practical knowledge of business and banking KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage with internal customers and external stakeholders both in person and remotely.
- Analytical and Inquisitive Nature: A curious mindset with a strong interest in investigating and understanding business processes, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Organizational Skills: A structured and organized approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Project Methodology Knowledge: Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and experience in systems and process implementation or improvement is essential, along with a solid understanding of Treasury principles.
- Regulatory Understanding: Demonstrated practical experience and understanding of the financial regulatory environment is advantageous.
- Desirable Experience: Experience with acquisitions and support for Trax/Quantum implementations is highly desirable.
