Senior Treasury Manager required for a Fast-Growth, Mission-Led Energy Business!
Stanton House is partnering with a rapidly scaling, purpose-driven Energy business on their search for a Senior Treasury Manager. This is a hybrid position, with 2 days per week required in either the Bristol office.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the Treasury function in a business at the forefront of the UK’s transition to a net-zero future. With significant cash flows under management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring effective control, forecasting accuracy, and liquidity strategy, whilst supporting broader business initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Own and maintain the daily cash forecast, collaborating across the business to ensure accuracy and insight
- Deliver daily updates on cash position, covenant headroom, and working capital drivers to senior management
- Lead the long-term cash flow forecasting and budgeting process
- Build and optimise treasury processes, policies, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Act as a key business partner across finance and operations on treasury matters
- Manage treasury relationships including retail banks, industry bodies and covenant reporting
- Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring a high-performing Treasury function
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including payment execution and reconciliation within the ERP system
- Support on strategic initiatives such as new product lines and regulatory changes
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
- 3+ years of experience in a senior treasury or finance role, ideally within the energy or utilities sector
- Proven experience of owning and developing robust cash forecasting models
- Strong working knowledge of banking systems, Workday, and Excel-based modelling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
- A proactive, hands-on approach, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement
- Demonstrable experience managing a team or mentoring junior team members
