Job summary

NHS Trust is seeking a Trauma & Orthopaedics clinician to assess and manage trauma patients, participate in fracture clinics, and provide ward and inpatient care. You will liaise with consultants and a multidisciplinary team, contribute to on-call rotas, and assist in theatre sessions while maintaining high-quality documentation.

GMC registration and ATLS certification are essential, with prior NHS Trauma & Orthopaedics experience preferred.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with licence to practise.
• ATLS certification.
• Previous NHS Trauma & Orthopaedics experience.
• Competency in common orthopaedic procedures.
• Experience managing acute trauma cases.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage trauma and orthopaedic patients.
• Participate in fracture clinics and outpatient services.
• Ward rounds and inpatient management.
• Liaise with consultants, nursing staff and allied health professionals.
• On-call rotas where required.
• Assist in trauma and elective theatre sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
