Job summary

Salary ranges between £54,143 and £58,602 (Grade 8). 37 hours per week, full‑time, permanent, with a flexible work style including home working and two days in a council location.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have an appropriate degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• A post graduate qualification or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience in transport strategy and policy environments is essential, with knowledge of planning and transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to transport strategy, policy, active travel, innovation and major transport programmes for the four Black Country authorities.
• Help shape long‑term transport policy and deliver tangible improvements for residents and businesses.
