We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Transport Shift Manager to join our distribution centre in Speke on nights!

Due to our growth, we are looking for a Senior Transport Shift Manager, working night shift on a 4 on 4 off basis.

Working hours: 6pm - 6am, 4 on 4 off

In this role, you will operate in line with Company values to achieve agreed KPIs, control costs, and provide a reliable service to stores, while meeting all legal requirements and maintaining high colleague engagement.

The key responsibilities include:

1. Overall responsibility for the shift, ensuring Shift Managers and Team Managers meet their KPIs.
2. Chairing grievances, appeals, and flexible working meetings.
3. Enhancing colleague engagement.
4. Attending the daily DC morning meeting.
5. Managing cost compliance (agency/overtime).
6. Maintaining good working relationships and liaising with the Transport Network to ensure SLA's are achieved.
7. Providing training, development, and motivation to Shift Managers and Team Managers.
8. Leading, motivating, inspiring, and challenging your team to deliver high results and maximize service to stores.
9. Supporting the Operations Manager.
10. Performing any other duties necessary for the smooth running of the Transport Shift.
