Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate individual to join our clients expanding team and be involved in supporting all aspects of development planning project work through the whole development cycle from site selection/due diligence and appraisal, through planning, design and implementation.

We are seeking a Planner who is passionate about creating sustainable and successful developments. You will work on several exciting, complex transport planning projects, with the support of our Directors and Transport team, and gain valuable experience and exposure across a range of sectors and a variety of clients on all scales/types of projects.

The role

  • This will include preparing Access Strategies, Transport Assessments/Statements, Travel Plans, Construction Traffic Management Plans, Parking Strategies, Sustainable transport / Active Travel, and inputs to Environmental Impact Assessment.
  • You will be required to undertake junction modelling (Junctions 10 (Arcady, Picady) and LinSig), input to S106 negotiations, liaise with local highway authorities and much more.

What you need to succeed

  • Degree qualified in a related subject
  • Collaboration with clients, project teams, highways officers and community members are at the core of our approach and candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Policy and guidance such as NPPF, DMRB, , Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20 etc;
  • Use of the TRICS database.
  • Setting up and running of junction modelling software, including Junctions 10
