Job description

Our client is seeking talented and experienced Transport Planners at Senior Transport Planner level who specialise in development planning and are eager to advance their careers while contributing to its dynamic growth.

It offers a stimulating work environment where transport planners take on varied responsibilities, including client engagement, management, and technical tasks. Key Responsibilities

  1. Leading and preparing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Delivery & Servicing Plans, and Construction Logistics Plans.
  2. Overseeing feasibility studies, design work, data analysis, and traffic modelling.
  3. Mentoring junior staff and supporting professional development.
  4. Developing transport and highway solutions, identifying mitigation strategies.
  5. Collaborating with clients, architects, project managers, and town planners.
  6. Supporting business development and company growth initiatives.

Skills & Experience
  1. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Excellent report writing and analytical abilities.
  3. Ability to work independently and within teams to meet deadlines.
  4. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to professional growth.
  5. Familiarity with transport planning policies, design standards, and software such as TRICS, LINSIG, ARCADY, and PICADY.

Requirements
  1. A degree in a related field.
  2. Membership of a relevant professional body.
  3. Full, clean driving licence.
