A leading transport planning consultancy is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to support high-profile sustainable transport projects in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will engage with public sector clients, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality deliverables. Ideal candidates will have strong communications skills, relevant transport planning experience, and be working towards their Chartered Transport Planning qualification. Stantec has a market leading Transport Planning team in Scotland and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic Senior Transport Planner to join us, working in our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Our team works with excellent clients on some of the UK’s most exciting transport projects, including major transit projects in Scotland’s largest cities. Our public sector client-focused and results-driven approach has enhanced our reputation as one of the leading transport planning consultancies in the UK. The team has grown significantly in recent years, with over 30 Transport Planners based in Scotland, and we are now looking to further strengthen and grow our offering.
You will provide support in the development and delivery of a range of high-profile sustainable transport projects, including major scheme appraisals, business cases, local and regional strategies, and monitoring & evaluation studies. You will interact with and be a key point of contact with clients.
