Job summary

Zesty Work is seeking an experienced transport/ Highways engineer to join our team in a hybrid working setup. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of industry experience, solid knowledge of local and national transport policies, and proficiency in junction capacity modelling tools along with GIS software.

You will engage in project management and mentor junior staff, delivering high-quality engineering solutions across sectors.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of industry experience.
• Membership in a professional institution (CIHT, IHE, TPS) or pursuing chartership (TPP, CILT).
• Experience with Statements, Assessments, Travel Plans and Transport Notes.
• Good knowledge of local and national transport policies and guidelines.
• Proficiency in junction capacity modelling software (Junctions 10, LinSig/Quickgreen) and industry tools (TRICS, TEMPro).
• Competence with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, MapInfo, Basemap TRACC).
• Skilled in preliminary highway design using AutoCAD and relevant design standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Project management experience and willingness to mentor junior staff.
