Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant Transport Modeller to join the Transport Modelling team in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham or Edinburgh. You will deliver modelling work, calibrate models and support project appraisal for public and private sector clients.
The role offers hybrid working, opportunities to mentor junior staff and a path toward chartership in a leading multidisciplinary consultancy.
Qualifications
- Degree in Transport Planning or related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience in transport modelling and strategic modelling.
- Proven capability in VISUM, CUBE, SATURN and/or EMME.
Responsibilities
- Deliver modelling tasks for a range of clients.
- Develop, calibrate, validate and apply strategic transport models.
- Use modelling outputs to support appraisal and decision-making.
- Communicate results through reports and client discussions.
- Keep up to date with transport policy and best practice.
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior modellers.
- Support project management activities including proposals and tenders.
- Tailor the role to match interests and business goals.
