Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Consultant/Senior Engineer to join our Development Planning team in the UK. The role focuses on inputting to planning processes, delivering access appraisals, feasibility studies and transport assessments for private and public sector clients.

The successful candidate will apply extensive technical experience, guide junior colleagues, manage complex tasks to time and budget, and contribute to business development through client relationships and innovative

Qualifications

• Significant work experience in a relevant technical discipline.
• Strong written & verbal communication of complex messages.
• Ability to analyse complex data and report findings.
• Good time management of self and others.
• Adaptable to undertake a range of complex tasks to meet project requirements.
• Knowledge of engineering software packages relevant to the discipline.
• Making progress towards Chartership or professional membership.
• Knowledge of Junctions, Linsig, TEMPRO software.

Responsibilities

• Proactively support the delivery of projects of varying scales for SYSTRA teams and clients.
• Ensure the delivery of complex tasks to quality, time and budget.
• Interpret and integrate complex technical information and present conclusions.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues on delivery of technical tasks.
• Maintain records of skills and experience in SYSTRA CV.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client contacts.
• Identify sales opportunities within market areas to support business development.
• Communicate information to stakeholders to support project delivery and inform clients.
