Job Description:

A market-leading consultancy providing comprehensive development transport planning services across the UK is seeking a Senior Transport Development Planner specializing in S/38 highways scheme design, drainage, environmental planning, implementation, and operation.

Operating hours: Monday to Friday (Office based)

Salary: £48,000 to £60,000

Main Duties:
  • Prepare detailed Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
  • Develop Travel Plans and coordinate their implementation.
  • Create and present technical data and drawings.
  • Conduct junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as needed.
  • Attend meetings and public consultation events when required.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff.
  • Take ownership of other traffic/transport-related tasks as assigned by your Team Leader.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in UK Transport Planning standards and processes.
