Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking a Transport Contract Manager to lead a multi-million-pound UK transport operation, managing strategic 3PL partnerships and driving service, cost and productivity across a nationwide logistics network.

This role provides contract management of core transport (XPO), POD and Bought-In Finished Goods (BIFG) operations, supporting service delivery, simplification and waste reduction while controlling costs through contractual reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and contracts.
• Strong ability to negotiate terms and manage supplier relationships.
• Budget oversight and cost-control across transport operations.
• Effective stakeholder management with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and efficiency in logistics networks.
• Knowledge of UK transport, fleet operations, and compliance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day UK ambient transport operations with 3PL partners, ensuring service, safety, quality and cost targets.
• Drive performance improvements across the logistics network, managing risks to on-time customer deliveries.
• Own logistics budgets and invoice governance, cost control and productivity opportunities.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with 3PL providers, leading contract reviews and governance meetings.
• Lead backhaul operations and transport optimization to maximise efficiency, sustainability and revenue.
• Deliver continuous improvement projects and productivity savings across transport operations.
• Ensure robust POD management, reconciliation and performance reporting.
• Oversee inbound movement of Bought-In Finished Goods into the UK and ensure supply chain execution.
