A transport services provider in Hatfield is seeking a Senior Transport Clerk to support day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include planning tasks for the Transport Clerks and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate must possess strong administration skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of transport regulations. This role requires adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Clerk to work in our busy Transport office. You will support the day-to-day administration of the Transport department, overseeing the tasks, planning, and functions of the Transport Clerks. They will report to the Transport Manager and contribute to the Department’s success by ensuring KPIs are continually met.
It is essential to have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations, and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and email. Strong administration skills and good communication are required.
