Job description

Senior Transformation & Quality Project Manager

The post holder will:

  1. Lead one or more projects within ALD & ASD Services, ensuring they are planned, managed, and evaluated effectively to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  2. Identify and report issues and risks, undertaking mitigation actions as necessary.
  3. Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and appropriateness of data to support quality decision-making.
  4. Support the Business and Service Improvement Manager and Associate Director in producing strategic reports and briefings for the Director.
  5. Plan and design transformation project plans, proactively monitor progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  6. Manage the scoping and procurement of assisted technologies where appropriate.
  7. Define governance arrangements for various projects.
  8. Maintain quality assurance and ensure the integrity of new projects, focusing on internal consistency and coherence with infrastructure planning and standards.
  9. Manage contributions from third parties, including primary care and external partners such as CCG, Local authority, Public Health, Third Sector, and Commercial entities.
  10. Oversee dependencies and interfaces between projects.
  11. Scope out changes to clinical pathways to improve quality and productivity, including service modelling and policy development.
  12. Work with teams to motivate and review working practices, conducting analyses to inform service redesign.
  13. Manage project risks and initiate additional activities or interventions when gaps or issues are identified.
  14. Report project progress regularly to the Associate Director and Service Manager for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism Services.
  15. Monitor resources, expenditures, and benefits realization throughout project execution.
  16. Facilitate staff involvement and engagement in project delivery.
  17. Ensure projects are delivered to quality standards, on time, and within budget, adhering to governance arrangements.
  18. Manage project team performance and resource allocation efficiently.
  19. Conduct audits to inform future planning.
  20. Develop and implement communication strategies, managing stakeholder engagement and delivering presentations as needed.
  21. Develop and execute staff engagement plans, including training and development.
  22. Build relationships and communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders, including management, project teams, and external partners.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective project delivery, stakeholder communication, staff engagement, and resource management to support transformation initiatives within the services.
