A healthcare organisation in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Senior Transformation Manager to lead initiatives for sustainable income generation and improve operational practices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills, with experience in strategic programme development and governance. This role plays a vital part in shaping the future of care delivery through innovative solutions and stakeholder engagement.
Support and/or lead the successful development, implementation, and delivery of strategic programmes and projects focused on sustainable income generation. Provide portfolio management for private care provision and collaborate across organisational boundaries with statutory, third sector, and community organisations.
The post holder will manage and prioritise their workload, ensuring all duties are carried out to high standards. Develop and deliver financially sustainable business plans and delivery models across the trust.
Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively, tailoring the communication style to the audience. Prepare and present information confidently, including highly complex, contentious, or sensitive topics such as service restructures. Build proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, especially within a commercial context.
Support or lead the delivery of large-scale transformation programmes, ensuring consideration of commercial factors in planning. Lead the analysis and interpretation of complex data, including service demands, customer experience, demographic, and benchmarking data, to inform performance improvements. Make formal presentations to diverse stakeholder groups.
Lead gap analyses, process mapping, and benefits realisation. Ensure programme governance with clear scope, plans, risk logs, KPIs, and reporting. Conduct ongoing research and horizon scanning to incorporate best practices nationally and internationally. Use analytical skills to interpret complex information and ensure compliance with relevant guidance and legislation.
Work with operational and clinical colleagues to support commercial development, providing critical challenge to ensure services meet outcomes and best practices. Develop demand and capacity models, patient pathways, new care models, operational policies, and clinical protocols for private care delivery.
Consider financial impacts of initiatives, achieve performance and financial targets, and monitor project delivery against these targets. Deliver private care income aligned with financial plans.
Support colleagues in developing business acumen and commercial awareness. Promote staff wellbeing and mental health, advising on available support services.
Provide expertise in data analysis, process mapping, and research to identify business improvements. Conduct independent research activities, support solution development, and implement best practices, policies, and SOPs. Utilise data and management information to support project implementation, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of performance indicators.
